WE ARE MOVING!!

Dear Friends and Clients:

It’s a new year and with that comes New Year’s resolutions, new outlooks on life, new directions and change in many areas for many people.  At Metropolis Salon, we have embarked on a new mission as well.  After nearly fourteen years at our Eastside location we have decided to make some changes. 

About three years ago, my partner Scott and I purchased a building on the Eastside on Swan near McMahon’s Steakhouse.  Our plans were to eventually remodel it to house Metropolis Salon at some point in time.  Well, that time is coming soon.

We will start the process of building out that location.  During the build-out process, we will be moving our eastside salon into the downtown salon combining both locations on February 1st.  The downtown salon at some point will move across the street to a larger, brand new suite but for now it’s still at 268 East Congress Street in the heart of the Arts District.

While it may initially seem like a journey to some, it will be closer for others.   Please take the opportunity to venture to our Downtown location and see for yourself the ample parking and our easily accessible location.   Have a drink at Club Congress, Sharks, or the Tavern while you wait, or stroll down after your appointment for lunch or dinner at Barrio Grille, The Grill, Café Poca Cosa, or fabulous sushi at On a Roll.  Perhaps you can peruse the fine treasures at an incredibly eclectic resale shop called Preen next door, or check out the art galleries on the other side of our salon!  So much is happening downtown and we're excited that we're staying a part of it.  In the ten years that we have been downtown, we are the only remaining business in three blocks that were there ten years ago.  We have weathered the storm and we're looking forward to the many other changes the arts district has in store for us.
